Oliver, a heating and cooling servicer based in Morton, Pa, awarded a comprehensive promotional package to support growth and brand awareness.

Firstrust Bank and the Philadelphia Eagles recently announced that Oliver Heating & Cooling (Oliver) is the winner of the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight, a new program focused on uplifting and promoting businesses in the Greater Philadelphia area.

As the winner of the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight, Oliver has been awarded up to $40,000 in promotional assets including mention on the Eagles Video Board during a 2024 season home game, digital billboard ads, paid social media content, radio spots, two tickets for three Eagles home games in Firstrust Bank’s Touchdown Terrace and more to support its growth and brand awareness.

“We’re beyond thrilled for Oliver to be the recipient of the first-ever Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight, and I personally want to thank Firstrust Bank and the Philadelphia Eagles for creating a program that uplifts local businesses,” said David Oliver, second-generation owner of Oliver Heating & Cooling. “These additional promotional assets will give our business the boost it needs to provide our services to more people across the region and allow us to give back in an even greater capacity to the community we love and serve through donations and our Heat for the Holidays initiative.”

The Delaware County-based HVAC company operates out of Morton, PA, servicing residential and commercial properties in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania, New Castle County Delaware, and Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties in New Jersey. Family-owned and operated for more than 50 years, Oliver channels the spirit of the Philadelphia Eagles to embrace challenges and find innovative ways to beat the competition while working together as a team. Philadelphia Eagles fans are some of the most passionate and loyal in sports, and that loyalty is something the Oliver team relates to with its employees and customers. Many employee tenures at Oliver are between 10 to 20 years, and many customers have trusted Oliver for more than 40 years.

“Local businesses are the heartbeat of our city, and Firstrust is committed to helping them thrive and grow,” said Tim Abell, CEO and President of Firstrust Bank. “From one local family-owned business to another, we are excited to give a ‘Brotherly Shove’ to Oliver in a way that makes a meaningful impact for their continued success.”

Oliver is known for their outstanding service, but also, their philanthropic efforts supporting local nonprofits and community causes. Oliver started “Heat for the Holidays” in 1998, a program that helps people who are in urgent need of a new heating system but are experiencing financial hardships that prevent them from purchasing one. Over the past 26 years, Oliver has completed more than 80 heating installations at no charge to deserving families and individuals.

In addition to the promotional package, the Philadelphia Eagles will donate $5,000 to Oliver’s Heat for the Holidays program.

“The mission behind the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight is to support the growth and brand awareness of local companies,” said Brian Napoli, Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, Philadelphia Eagles. “Together, the Eagles and Firstrust Bank felt strongly that Oliver Heating & Cooling’s 50-plus year commitment to residents of the Greater Philadelphia region was one that should be recognized in a special way. Oliver’s customer service, loyalty, expertise, and charitable efforts are just some of the many qualities that truly showcase their value in our community.”

Oliver Heating & Cooling was selected out of more than 450 entries from privately owned, for-profit businesses in Greater Philadelphia with annual revenue between $1 million and $50 million.

From the entries, five companies were selected as finalists. The finalists are: Greencastle Consulting; FCArchitects; Dlivrd, LLC; KMC Partners, LLC; and Country Pet Lodge. The following five companies were awarded honorable mention: MFR Consultants; Delaware Valley Concrete; DoubleStar, Inc.; Old Capitol Custom Millwork Inc.; and Paddy’s Roofing. Finalists and honorable mention recipients will each receive a plaque, and all  companies that entered into the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight will be invited to a Firstrust Bank event at the Eagles stadium in February.

Beyond the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight, as the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles, Firstrust Bank supports entrepreneurship programs in Philadelphia-area high schools, offers Eagles-themed banking products, and along with the Green Family Foundation have pledged more than $1M to the Eagles Autism Foundation.
